Hayley Atwell for Empire magazine, September 2015Interviewer: “So, what next for Peggy?”
Hayley: “There’s a Twitter campaign.. for her to be bisexual.”
There are many reasons I think strong women can be intimidating. I think it’s even more rare to show the complexities and vulnerabilities of women that are initially perceived as strong. And it’s kind of lovely to play someone like Peggy who tries to explore that in a still very male dominated world.

“Continuing into season two I hope we can look into [Peggy and Angie’s relationship] more, the importance of women looking after other women. It’s not just a battle against the other sex, but more about women realising that we need to support each other rather than compete with each other. I think that’s absolutely crucial.” [x]
Hayley Atwell is stunning and brilliant and amazing however there is a small chance we need to protect everyone around her all of the time because she is a constant source of danger to them.
I am laughing so hard right now

My real self, the self I have always been from a child, is a loner and nerd, slightly overweight, with a very heavy fringe. That is who I was as a kid. I don’t think I will ever be anything other than that.
